In July 2010 Safop received the order for a new headstock for an existing, local made, horizontal lathe, installed in a workshop in Deyang, China.

The lathe has a capacity of 300 tons and after the replacement of the headstock, required to meet the tight accuracy of the workpiece, it will be used for the machining of big Steam Turbine Rotors.
