Safop started its activity in 1925 with the construction of small machine tools. During eighty years of manufacturing the company has constantly reviewed and kept pace with the latest technology in machine tool design, and has adapted accordingly to meet the markets ever changing demands. “Research and development” together with innovative design has become the key objective in a company dedicated to producing technological solutions.

From 2007 Safop plant's is located in Pordenone, with an area of 24,000 sq. mt., of which 8,300 are indoors.
